About Canada 3.0
The “moonshot”: Everyone in Canada will be able
to do anything online by 2017. The Canada 3.0 forum
acts as the launching pad for an ongoing, online
conversation regarding this goal, and ultimately
Canada’s digital media future.
Innovative minds from Industry, Government and
Academia come together at Canada 3.0 to explore
the state of digital media today, identify what
needs to be done, and together provide solutions
for what it will take to reach the “moonshot”. This
valuable 2.5 day forum is a catalyst to action to
help realize the Canadian Digital Media Network’s
(CDMN) mandate to connect the companies and technologies
of the future with the commercialization, research
and government resources of today.
Keynote Presentations
World class speakers – from senior government
officials, to noted authors, to trend setting communities
managers and innovative entrepreneurs - set the
stage on Day 1 of the conference sharing their views
of the state of the Digital nation.
Building from this, and input gathered at Canada
3.0 in 2009 and 2010, attendees will build on a
wealth of information as they head into Day 2 of
the conference where interactive breakout sessions
will explore key issues in eight streams Education,
eHealth, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications
& Distribution, Natural Resources, Public Sector,
Research and Human Resources. Each track includes
keynote speakers, expert panels or debates for a
rich discussion regarding the latest productivity
gains in digital media.
